(1) According to this Act, any employee who has completed fifty years of age and does not want to be adjusted at the federal, state or local level and is eligible for pension

in a notice published in the Nepal Gazette by the Government of Nepal. Within the specified period, he can take voluntary retirement according to the conditions mentioned in the notification.
(2) Employees of Nepal Health Service, Legislature-Parliament Service employees and employees who entered the civil service before 21st Kartik 2049 among the employees who take voluntary retirement according to sub-section (1) shall not exceed sixty years of age and in the case of employees who enter the civil service after The total service period for pension will be maintained by adding the service period not to exceed the age.
(3) According to sub-section (2), seven years of pension will be given to employees who have completed their service period in one lump sum at the time of taking voluntary retirement and after the completion of that period, pension will be given according to the prevailing law.
(4) The notice as per sub-section (1) shall be published within three months from the date of commencement of this Act.
